I absolutely love this book by John Plowman. It is so inspiring and uses everyday materials to make stunning creations. The challenge I have is delivering this to a class of 21 plus. What I have done initially is get my 9 year old nephew, George, to make this banana to see how he uses the process and materials. He was amazing as usual and even though we were all tired from a busy engagement party last night, he still managed to easily make this sculpture and we managed to film him in action. I will post this next time and I hope to show my Yr 5s creations this week so fingers crossed. If it works I will share with you and if it doesn’t I will of course give you a full postmortem.
